To our amazing committee members, tireless volunteers, local vendors, concession stands, and the incredible community that showed up week after week—thank you. Your energy, support, and dedication brought this vision to life.
From the first note to the last encore, BridgeFest was a celebration of music, unity, and joy. We couldn’t have done it without you! Here’s to the music, the memories, and many more to come.

Friday, July 11 @ 7-9pm: Put on those dancing shoes! Since 1994 El Grupo Chevere with its Latin Groove will get BridgeFest started with the popular Salsas, Merengues, Bachata and Cumbias. Featuring these instruments: Piano, Congas, Bongos, Timbales, Tambora, Guira, Saxophone, Trumpets, Bass guitar and synthesizer. They have performed 30 years throughout MA.
Friday, July 18 @ 7-9pm: The Femmes are an all-woman and non-binary wedding band specializing in songs by female and non-binary artists. When you’re at a Femmes show, you’re at a high energy concert experience. Epic sing alongs, expertly crafted harmonies, and musicians who absolutely LOVE to interact with the audience, the Femmes are Boston’s go-to women’s party band! Their roster includes Berklee alumni, touring artists, veteran wedding band performers, and pit band musicians with over 10 years of professional experience.
Friday, July 25 @ 7-9pm: Roots Alley is comprised of Caribbean musicians who strive to deliver an authentic experience through live music. Known for their soulful blend of reggae, ska, and rocksteady, Roots Alley Collective will entertain us with an electrifying performance. Get ready to sway to their infectious rhythms and experience the spirit of Jamaica right in the heart of Hyde Park.
Friday, August 1 @ 7-9pm: Tony Wilson aka The Young James Brown is a Chicago native and nationally recognized entertainer. He does not take his moniker lightly fore it was give to him by none other than the God Father of Soul himself in 1999 on the set of his first movie project entitled Funkblast (http://www.imagine-that.com/EMP/funkblast-main.htm)
Since that time Tony has not only embraced his name and alter ego but has taken on a personal mission – with passion and dedication, to keep and preserve the vibrant, energetic, visual concert performance legacy of the one and only Godfather of Soul. A personal promise he made to Mr. Brown.
